Fall pleasures on Salt Spring Island....

Just Grapes
Well, it's truly Fall now...the calendar says so.

Days are shorter, and weather can shift between warm afternoons/almost summer to days that would better describe November.

Fall on the Pacific Northwest Coast is a very appealing season...Salt Spring and the Southern Gulf Islands also enjoy this harvest season's pleasures.

Hiking or walking the trails in Ruckle Park, at Burgoyne Bay Park, at Mt Erskine Park can be both inspiring and energizing. Join up with the Trail & Nature Club...from beginners to life-long trekkers.

Check out the indoor pool schedule, get involved with a yoga class (yoga poses keep the brain young), maybe connect with the Scottish Country Dance group (now there's a workout!), enroll in an evening class that will introduce you to something new. Sunday sailing races...sign up as crew?

The message of Fall? Keep moving, keep engaged.

Lots to enjoy on special Salt Spring.

Discover the coastal softer season...autumn.

How may I help you to discover special Salt Spring Island & the Southern Gulf Islands?   Call me!

It looks like there's much to do to keep yourself active in the area! I am interested in knowing how Scottish Country Dancing looks though...

Li,

I love this time of the hear.  The wine harvest has been done (the whites), and the reds harvest will soon follow.  Enjoy.  A

Li- for some reason we tend to get so much more energized with the coming of Fall!  Love the photo of the grapes.

Li, bet it is very nice on Salt Island.   It was very cool here over the weekend.  Fall has definitely arrived.

Love the picture of grapes and I bet they make good wine. BC is on my list of favorite places.

Our fall suddenly changed to an Indian Summer with high humidity and high temperatures, hopefully fall will resume shortly.

I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around the idea that this is autumn already.  How swiftly this year is passing.

Those are some great ideas on how to keep active this Fall.  The Scottish dance sounds fun.

We also love the softer shades of Fall - and the lighting. Hope you're having a great final quarter. D

Wonderful advice as we all tend to begin the 'hibernation' mode and getting out and moving around should be a year-round thing!

Great post and love the graphic too, Li!
