Back to the land movement calling your name?

There is an authentic "back to the land" movement underway...again.

The temperate climate found on Salt Spring and the Southern Gulf Islands encourages small scale farming.

Orchards, vineyards, olive groves, berries, veggies, cheese-makers, wineries, cidery, craft brewers...the agrarian lifestyle is alive and well on these island gems.

The Saturday Market, the Tuesday Farmers Market, road-side stands (on the honour system) are sales venues for the local Island farmers. Fall Fair, Taste of Salt Spring, Harvest events, Apple Fest...all treasured events that showcase agricultural pursuits and rural lifestyles.

More information? Call me. Looking for your piece of rural beauty? Look forward to helping you to discover and to buy your agricultural dream.

Li - I agree that many seem to be returning to the land to sustain themselves.  Even here in my sidewalks, curbs and gutters environment, I notice a few people planting vegetable gardens and raising a few chickens.
