Lately, I've been very lucky to be showing many homes designed by architects.
There is a difference!
This beauty began as a 1910 Arts & Crafts home, on a crawl space. The owner had it moved/barged onto my Island area, and then hired a Quebec based architect to add a garden level (storage, plus oceanside "suite"), and an upper level (master/sitting/ensuite).
The restoration of the original, and the design/construction of the new, are a seamless blend.
Not sure that I would have ever thought of linking the three spaces via a glass tower/dramatic staircase (on opposite side of home, from this view).
It's a plus that it's oceanfront, but the home is delectable on its own.
Beauty!

What an interesting home. It would be great if you have other pictures to post. I am sure the inside is as unique.
I so appreciated all your comments...this is a stellar home, for sure, and the fact that it's on lowbank oceanfront, with sunrises and sunsets, just makes it that much more special!
Li, this does look like a beautiful home! I bet it is very pretty up there!
