Whether you're doing the "big voyage" up to Desolation Sound, or whether you're just gunkholing around the Southern Gulf Islands, there are lots of unique coves to explore, bays to anchor in, picnics to enjoy, swimming to cool off, and that lovely sense of just "lolling" in life....you know what that's like, right? An ease in one's own skin, a sense of the pure pleasure in living.
Make hay while the sun shines, says the old adage. As usual, those proverbial sayings have some kernel of truth at their heart...it's a short sweet trip, and we need to make sure we are leaving time for our nearest and dearest and the exploration of summer pleasures...together.
