I was really lucky last evening, as was able to attend Peter Levitt's launch of his new book of poetry (Within Within -- published by Black Moss Press, located in Ontario). This is Peter Levitt's first full length collection of poetry since his move to Canada (& Salt Spring Island) some years ago.
If you love poetry, don't miss this evocative and powerful grouping of poems, all with a touchstone for each of us, though the initial motivating force for the work may have been entirely personal.
The Moment, Found, Beside, Zucchini and Peach, and Within Within all entangle and call forth that emotional bond between creator and listener.
It was terrific to "hear" the work, too, in the actual voice of the poet.
