Fall pleasures on Salt Spring Island....

Just Grapes
Well, it's truly Fall now...the calendar says so.

Days are shorter, and weather can shift between warm afternoons/almost summer to days that would better describe November.

Fall on the Pacific Northwest Coast is a very appealing season...Salt Spring and the Southern Gulf Islands also enjoy this harvest season's pleasures.

Hiking or walking the trails in Ruckle Park, at Burgoyne Bay Park, at Mt Erskine Park can be both inspiring and energizing. Join up with the Trail & Nature Club...from beginners to life-long trekkers.

Check out the indoor pool schedule, get involved with a yoga class (yoga poses keep the brain young), maybe connect with the Scottish Country Dance group (now there's a workout!), enroll in an evening class that will introduce you to something new. Sunday sailing races...sign up as crew?

The message of Fall? Keep moving, keep engaged.

Lots to enjoy on special Salt Spring.

Discover the coastal softer season...autumn.
