Late summer is just fine....
Already, we who live on the thin rim of beauty on the Pacific Northwest Coast, we have forgotten the days of Mayvember, Juneuary, Julyuary...August began the sunny days, but now we are really into the hot/hot of true Summer...I'm calling it Septgust!
This weekend is the Terry Fox Run, on Sunday. Terry lost a leg to cancer, and embarked on a run across Canada, from east to west...the cancer returned, and he made it half way. Every year since then, this run has occurred in September, across Canada, in his memory, and as a major fundraiser for cancer research.
Next weekend is the 115th Fall Fair...each day is different...enjoy the sheep dog trials!
Following weekend is Sip & Savour...a celebration of food and wine and talented chefs...graze along with the best!
