Lots going on, as we enjoy our "season"....

Live music at Treehouse Cafe: tonight, catch Stephanie Rhodes, Friday enjoy Shane Philip, with Saturday showcasing The Coalition. Sunday, don't miss Let It Beatle 2! Monday, catch Buck & Jess, and Tuesday it's always the welcome Open Stage with David Jacquest. Wednesday, don't miss the very talented Peter Prince! All part of the 111 Nights of Music, that plays May to October...a much appreciated summertime presentation!

Saturday, be inspired by the celebration of the publication of the fourth book in the series: The Unheralded Artists of B.C. A Mother Tongue Publishing Ltd endeavour (Salt Springers, Mona Fertig and Peter Haase), this book launch is at Lion's Club on Bonnet Ave., doors open at 7:30, reading at 8. The Life and Art of Mildred Valley Thornton, by Sheryl Salloum. See you there!

ArtCraft opens on June 17 and runs through to Sept 18...an artist gallery/gift shop! At Mahon Hall...be inspired by the talent on this Island!

Friday, Music & Munch features cellist Rylan Gajek...recital begins at 7:30 p.m., at All Saints by the Sea.

Catch the collection of spiritual artifacts, being exhibited at the Jill Louise Campbell Gallery, from June 23 to 26. Marilyn Walker, an ethnobotanist and medical anthropologist, is presenting her collection...free opening talk at the gallery, June 23, at 7 p.m.

ArtCraft opens with Mrs. Drysdale's Circus...6 to 8 p.m. on June 17, and daily 10 to 5, till July 6th. Created by Paul Burke and Anna Gustafson.

ArtSpring showcases Secrets of a Soccer Mom, at 8 p.m., June 17 - 18, and 2 p.m., Sunday the 19th. Written by Kathleen Clark and directed by the multi-talented Vaughn Fulford, this is one to enjoy!

Wednesday, June 22, Music & Munch features the amazingly talented Don Conley...a terrific program has been arranged by this accomplished pianist. At All Saints by the Sea: at 12:10 p.m.

Not too late to donate...ArtSpring's main annual fundraiser is Treasure Faire Extraordinaire, held this year on July 14, 15, 16. Call: 250-931-0931.

Enjoy the Summer Solstice celebration at Salt Spring Vineyards, on June 19th, noon to 6 p.m. Jose Sanchez and Friends perform for your pleasure!
