A late Spring/early Summer scene, somewhere on the amazingly beautiful Pacific Northwest Coast.
Many such gems, like this one...character home, lovingly restored, English Country garden charms, lawn folding towards the sea, just beyond the hedge a crushed shell and sand beach to swim from, to launch a kayak from, to explore at low tide....
We are still locked into the La Nina weather pattern, and today is more like January: cold, grey, drizzling rain. I know the calendar says Spring, officially, but it's nowhere in sight today!
This kind of brilliant blue, shot with sun, flowers leaning forward to welcome us, is a reminder that yes, it will return to more normal conditions, and just look what awaits!
Hmmm....too bad this doesn't come with sound effects and the fragracnce of almost summer....
