Interesting outcomes of Canadian Federal Election: majority Conservative Party, the Official Opposition is the NDP, the once strong Liberal Party lost ground to the NDP, as did the Quebec based separatist party, the Bloc Quebecois. The Green Party won one seat, and did it in the Saanich and the Islands riding, which included Salt Spring Island. An interesting outcome, and Canadian news sources will be commenting....
