Further up McPhillips Avenue, enjoy the Salt Spring Fine Art Gallery...an artists cooperative, this is a thriving and exciting new gallery on the Salt Spring scene.
In that inner space between McPhillips and Fulford-Ganges Roads, you find Barb's Bakery and Bistro (still called Barb's Buns by the "real locals"!), with spelt muffins, enticing ginger twists, amazing breads, and a great place for breakfast or lunch...a time tunnel place in the best sense of the word!
Just at the entrance into "Barb's", off McPhillips, there's Watermark Books. Local poets represented here!
