A pool, with a sunbaked patio, would be a good choice...iced tea, and a little shade if it gets too hot.
An ocean dock, a place to kayak into or to tie up a sailboat...jump in when it gets hot...
What about the beachcombing experience? Something to be said for those long meandering walks, poking about for flotsam and jetsom (what is that, anyway!)....
Or, how about a calm lake, a slow paddle around the beauty of the shoreline...
Lots of scenarios, to please the soul and allure the senses.
It's a season to take time, to remember to savour, to enjoy family and friends, and not to be too deeply into the tunnel of work...it is a season to enjoy, and it's a short one!
