Signs of Spring....
Clocks go forward on Saturday night, as Daylight Time springs in.
The Saturday Market in the Park begins, rain or shine, on April 2nd...the season starter!
Gardens are "hatching" under plastic covers...early seedlings protected.
The colour of the sky is deepening...that thin winter light is erasing.
Clean up is underway, windstorm debris is being dealt with, soil is being turned and freshened, early bulbs are out....
Sunny, no wind, and the al fresco coffee drinkers are peopling the decks and patios around town...when Barb's deck is full, the "season" has turned!
Sailboats are suddenly popping up in the Harbour, cyclists are around, early birds with convertibles have the top down....
And yes, I have been hungrily waiting for Spring!
