Ahh...Spring is here! Calendar says so anyway....
In some places, it's flowering of trees, or bulbs bursting into colour, or longer daylight hours, or classic car show and shines, or...those things are a part of Spring in my area, too, but one thing really shows "the season" is with us...it's the boats returning to docks!
In the winter, boats are on trailers in yards, or in protected by breakwaters marinas...now, people lucky enough to live in a waterfront, with a dock in front of their property, can bring the boats back to "be at home".
Yes, docks are also for jumping off of, for swimming between, for pushing off a kayak and going exploring the shoreline, but they're perfect for tying up the sailboat and drifting off whenever time and weather permit.
That's my signal for Spring.
Now, it's on the way to Summer.....
