P.S.   Just heard that the third try at a public meeting, with the Trust, to allow public input on the proposed RAR bylaw, has been cancelled.   They will put out an announcement when the public meeting will take place.   It's unfortunate that they chose the Harbour House Hotel as venue # 1, as it has limited seating.    Although ArtSpring has slightly more seating for the public, it is still not a large enough venue.    The choice of the high school gym, which does have the room (a double sized gym space), as the third choice venue perhaps should have been the first.    This interpretation of the RAR has created enormous interest on the part of Islanders, and it is very important that all points of view be heard, at a public meeting.    You can also write the Trust, or email, to be on file about your thoughts on this proposed bylaw.    The public meeting, however, is an important place to allow the Islanders to present their viewpoints.
