Baby steps to recovery en route in my area...

I find that my slightly "ajar" area (on a small island, in a grouping of small islands, off the coast of a much larger island, off the coast of the Mainland, in a tiny corner of the Pacific Northwest Coast) is  now experiencing what I've been "hearing" off Active Rain posts for some weeks, now.    Tiny baby steps of recovery seem to be occurring, and it's happening all over this Coastal region, and not just in my secondary home/discretionary marketplace.   Good news, indeed!    It's also begun a good five weeks before the "norm" in our seasonal/resort based area (our sales take place between March Break and the Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend, in early October, so it's a short grid of activity).     The busyness began where it sould begin, too, which is always in the low end residential.   Undeveloped land sales, and the higher end properties, don't usually get going until late April/early May, for us, as our nonlocal buyer profile is in sunnier climes in our off season.    Interest rates remain low, the Canadian dollar is low compared to the U.S. and to the Euro, and we offer a safe and pristine environment.    More info?   Please call me, and discover the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands & Salt Spring Island (the island with the year round lifestyle).    liread33@gmail.com    (Check out my main website:  www.liread.com).
