Do many of you write regular newsletter "reports" on your area, to your client base? Not just real estate statistics, taken from a Board "report" on an area, although each client likes to know about their own property value, of course, but more of an update on what's happening in the general community? New restaurant, or new menu at a tried and true venue, or fundraisers for galleries, or an interesting local citizen, who might otherwise not be in the news, but should be written up and "shared", or...in other words, just about the area itself, and not about selling real estate in it. Maybe a fundraiser at a school, or a special event for seniors, or a showcase of local artists at a theatre gallery, or....there are lots of things going on around us. Are we too often limited in our point of view, and are just being this "realty info machine"? Maybe a real estate newsletter isn't the place for such community advice...your thoughts? I'm always looking for ways to present my area, and hope that in doing so the people who read same will remember to call me, when it's 'real estate time'.
