It's MidSummer's Eve...the shortest night/longest day of the year...officially Summer!
It's been a true La Nina weather year on the Pacific Northwest Coast...we have all been experiencing Mayvember and now Juneuary!
Summer in the offing (rumour says we're going to suddenly be into very hot/dry...I'm ready!)...a time to take part in the wonders offered at this time of year, to "take 5", to savor the delights of the season...it's all about taking time.
If you like to lose yourselves in the garden, then now is the time to dally...roses in bloom, lavendar, veggies shooting into fruition, orchards on the way to picking their bounty..if you're not a gardener, then make sure you make friends with the growers in your area...support sustainability, whenever possible.
Maybe you'd rather be sailing or golfing or...it's a short season, so take that time to enjoy whatever summer might mean to you, and remember to...
