It's the Labour Day Holiday Weekend in North America...this holiday signals the end of summer, for many people...the kids are back in school and that also seems like a real beginning of the year. Forget January 1st...it's that back to school/first of September that means "beginnings", for many of us.
In the Pacific Northwest Coast region, September and October can be warm days/cool nights...perfect harvest time. It's almost like a mini-summer reboot, and after the Mayvember to Julyuary months, it's very welcome, indeed.
Fall Fair (115th year!), Sip & Savour, Apple Fest...these are just some of the events enjoyed in this late Summer/early Fall time...come & enjoy our foodie paradise on display!
This weekend, let's remember all those who work hard for our benefit, throughout the year...you know who they are...and also remember to say thank you!
Enjoy your weekend....
