
This is the famously "wet coast", and snow in our Islands region isn't that common...people actually rush out to take photographs of it.
In this odd La Nina weather year, we had snow/arctic cold pattern in November, very unusual, and today we're experiencing another snow/very cold period.
A time to stay home, crank up the woodstove/feed the fireplace, enjoy soup or that old childhood staple, cocoa...remember to feed the birds, remember to knock the heavy snow off the bamboo, leave scraps for the deer...
Yes, I can see those tulip bulbs under the snow, too...daffodils crushed below its weight...
Spring is creeping closer, and I for one am ready!!!!!!
