Sip & Savour, the first annual event, sponsored by Salt Spring's Chamber of Commerce, invites foodies to an Island feast experience. Friday, 6:30 onward, enjoy a seven-course feast from the gardens, farms, waters of Salt Spring Island...perfectly paired with Salt Spring wines, at Hastings House. Saturday, catch the Grazing Experience at Harbour House Hotel: growers, chefs, vintners work together as trios to create tasting plates. Over 20 B.C. wineries will be present. Details soon about the February Literary Festival...one of the planned events, a joint sponsorship between Community Ed and the Salt Spring Chamber of Commerce: Dine with a Writer. This will take place in January, as a prelude to the literary festival. Great idea!
