Jose Sanchez and his Cuban Dance Party are bringing together 8 great musicians, on Friday and Saturday (Aug 5 & 6), beginning at 7 p.m. Co-sponsored by Salt Spring Jazz & Blues Society, and the Friday night concert will be filmed by Greg Pauker of Sculptor Systems. Congratulations to wonderful Treehouse Cafe!
Victoria's "band of the year", Skyla J and the Vibes, play Moby's this weekend, too. A mix of reggae, soul and house music, they're on stage at 8 p.m. on Aug 6th...enjoy!

Tomorrow, Aug 5, be sure to pop by Morley Myers studio (reception at 6 to 9 p.m.), at his Merchant Mews studio, and be inspired by his latest work...a very significant sculptor. New photographic studies by Kevin Steinke will also be showcased.
