Am still having fun doing my live radio show on Salt Spring's community radio station.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, between 7 and 9 a.m., Pacific Time, you can catch my "All Things Salt Spring...and More" morning show, at 107.9fm, if you're in the immediate neighbourhood, or, via streaming audio off the station's website (www.cfsi-fm.com).
Turns out, I had the very first show on the radio, in mid-September, 2009. My producer had the second show, that day.
Have learned a lot since then, and it's been a totally interesting experience!
I didn't want to do a real estate show, as that was about "me"...instead, have been interviewing the many people I've encountered in my 20+ year career on Salt Spring Island (and the Southern Gulf Islands)...so many different stories and experiences!...and I want to showcase them all.
Someday, I'll write my book about real estate, but the radio isn't that venue!

Jerry Davidson (once a pilot and now an amazing painter, his work carried by Gallery 8);
Peter Haase (Liverpool Pete, who has saved printing presses, taught print-making courses, runs a publishing house with poet/publisher wife, Mona Fertig, and has spanned 3 continents, been a musician, and is now writing his memoirs);
David Young (creator of major design elements for international corporate locales, plus is an evocative personal painter);
Lisa Sliwowska (from an English/Cypriot background, a so talented designer, and now the creator of Figs and Honey, a healing esthetics enterprise);
Dennis Maguire (talented architect, between Whistler/Vancouver and Salt Spring Island);
and the myriad voices of so many talented artists, writers, singers, musicians, all sharing their passions with that listening audience!
