Li's Blog

back with active rain...

I changed offices, at the beginning of October, and so was involved with all that paper work!     No time to read the blog entries of all those good active rain members, and no time to offer my own thoughts.     While I've been "out of the loop", on active rain, I have been keeping a weather eye on all the shifts in the financial sectors.   The worry worry worry syndrome is still in the forefront.    I'm reminded almost hourly that we are definitely in the 21st Century, and there is no road map.    All that anyone can do is their very best, and it's essential to keep afloat.

It's not about being euphorically positive.    It is, I think, about looking for that door in what seems an insurmountable wall.    There is always a door, but it doesn't conveniently present itself with handy visible doorknobs and keys at the ready to open.

In the midst of all this conflict and turmoil, in housing, in stocks, in the financial sectors, we need to be looking for that arrow into the future, which will take us down the right path, and not into a maze.

If consumed by worry, we won't "hear" that voice within.

By the way, has anyone come up with the idea that will help the world, which is Google's challenge to us all, in this, their tenth anniversary year?    The contest is open for the entire year, and the winning idea will be gifted with ten million dollars.     Now there's a reason to get out of the doubt/fear mindset, and into some creative thinking!

How may I help you to discover special Salt Spring Island & the Southern Gulf Islands?   Call me!
