Sailing through the Salish Sea?

A view from Salt Spring Island.

Did you know?   Amazing Mt Baker, in the background, is in Washington State.

If you look at a satellite map shot of the Pacific Northwest Coast region, you will see that the U.S. San Juan Islands are very close to the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands.   Salt Spring is in the middle of this region, which is often described as being some of the best protected boating waters in the world.

People from all over come to sail and boat and kayak through the Gulf Islands and the San Juans.   Ganges Village is the main centre for Salt Spring, and you will find my office here...with a view  out to Ganges Harbour.   I can see Orcas Island, in the San Juans, from my office window.   Lucky me, to be able to live and to work here!   A reminder to my U.S. realtor friends...referrals are welcomed.   Lots of U.S. seasonal owners in my Islands region.

Meanwhile...enjoy this late evening summer visita...beauty everywhere in the Salish Sea (the historic name for these waters).

How may I help you to discover special Salt Spring Island & the Southern Gulf Islands?   Call me!
