Entrepreneurship is alive and well on Salt Spring Island

Ganges, Salt Spring Island
Salt Spring encourages a spirit of entrepreneurship.

Have you seen the evolution of Grace Point Square into an authentic artists locale?

What about the recreation of the former Gasoline Alley? Wow...every newly created space is painted its own signature colour...boutique row, now.

Adjacent to the building where my office is located, there is a Food Garden (including Brooke's vegetarian Fork to Plate...you saw her on the Food Network's "Chuck and Danny's Road Trip"...find it on YouTube).

So many special places, showcasing the verve and daring of the business owners. And...in a seasonal venue. Three cheers to these talented purveyors of eclectic charm!

Check out: Gallery 8, Steffich Fine Art, Fault Line Gallery, Auntie Pesto's, Salt Spring Gallery of Fine Art, Thrive, POD, Guilietta's, Bean Drinkin, Piccolo's, TJ Beans, Mondo Trading, Houseboat, Cafe Talia, Pasta Fresca, Love My Kitchen, Bohemia Consignment, Salt Spring Inn, Frankly Scarlett, Fever Tree, Mouat's Clothing, Black Sheep Books, Barb's Bakery, Salt Spring Books, Brigitte's French Bakery, Moby's Pub, Hastings House Bistro, Treasures of the Heart, Off Waterfront Gallery, Whiskers Pet Store, Embe Bakery, OMG, Rainbow Road Trading, Outspokin Bikes, Salt Spring Soapworks, Spitfire Studio, Rock Salt Cafe, Mercantile, Moby's Pub, West of the Moon, Salty Shop, Woodley's Bistro, Fernwood Cafe, Twig and Buoy restaurant, Jana's Bakeshop, Penny's on the Green, Harlan's Chocolates, Treehouse Cafe...and that's not all....

The business community, from Ganges to Fulford to Fernwood to Vesuvius, keeps the Salt Spring community vibe alive and well.

Looking to support these entrepreneurs? Be a part of the Salt Spring Chamber of Commerce. A volunteer / non-profit organization, with a strategic plan focused on the well-being of the entire community, the Chamber welcomes your participation.
